Late of Avonmore, Ballyhale, Co. Kilkenny and Target, Waterford.

Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Agnes

Gerry died peacefully in the Oak Ward, Southeast Palliative Care surrounded by his loving family.

Gerry will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Julie and Aisling, Julie’s partner Naveera, sisters Geraldine and Carmel, brothers Michael, Seamus, Damien, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Saturday 24th August from 3 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 5 pm followed by removal to The Carmelite Church, Knocktopher (R95 AP2K) for reception on arrival at approximately 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12:30 pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
