Who died on Friday, 16th January 2026.
The family would like to thank all the staff in University Hosiptal Waterford and Witfield for the exceptional care Ned received during his time.
Predeceased by his father Jack, mother Kit, brother John and niece Catherine.
Sadly missed by his sisters Geraldine and Attracta, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.
May He Rest in Peace.
Requiem Mass on arrival in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Fenor on Tuesday (20th January) at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
Mass will be livestreamed at 12 noon on Tuesday by following the Funeral Service link.

My sympathy to Geraldine & Attracta and all Eddie's family and friends. I listened to the funeral Mass online- the Celebrant had very kind and fitting words so I echo them. I liked Eddie, he had a good sense of humour. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Sorry and shocked to hear of Eddy's passing. A large presence and a quiet man. My only tangle with him was on the hurling pitch in Ist Year at CBS Tramore ( I came off secong best ! ) May he Rest in Eternal Peace.

50 years of memories of Eddie since we met in the CBS Tramore , Guess we became friends from the moment we met . Eddie was a wonderful character he had an amazing way with words . I have often used some of his sayings in my conversations , and proberly always will .I was lucky to have to have known Eddies mam and dad Kitty and Jack who were always very nice to me , always a smile and a welcome . And as the old saying goes The apple dosent fall far from the tree Eddie didnt fall far from that tree ,think he yust landed under it . Thank you Eddie for being a wonderfull friend to me for so long , Love you for ever Rest in Peace Ollie
