The wind alert is in place until 2 o’clock tomorrow morning
Met Éireann says Storm Dave will bring strong gusts and is likely to lead to debris and fallen trees on the roads. Motorists are advised to remain cautious and allow for extra time while travelling.
The RNLI have advised people in coastal areas to take extra care, and to exercise caution when near coastlines, and take note of the risks of wave overtopping and coastal flooding.
