Yellow wind warning issued for Waterford as strong winds expected
A yellow wind warning has been issued for County Waterford, with strong and gusty winds expected throughout Thursday.
The warning comes from Met Éireann, which says southwesterly winds will create potentially hazardous conditions.
The yellow wind warning came into effect at midnight on Thursday, March 12, and will remain in place until 6pm.
The weather alert applies nationwide, including Waterford and surrounding areas.
