A moderate weather warning has been issued for County Waterford from 1pm today, Tuesday, May 20th until 8pm tonight.

The Met Éireann advisory stated scattered thunderstorms may arrive with the potential for spot flooding and lightning damage.

Waterford joins Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Wicklow, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Galway in being issued a weather warning.
