A Status Yellow alert for moderate rain has been issued for Waterford.

It’s valid from  midnight on Tuesday until 6pm Thursday.

Met Éireann is warning of heavy and persistent rain falling on saturated ground.

Possible impacts include flooding, difficult travelling conditions, and poor visibility.

The Status Yellow alert also applies to counties Wexford and Wicklow.
