Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Waterford and Cork in the last few minutes.
A previous warning issued covered Clare, Kerry, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo & Sligo, however, Cork and Waterford have been added to that list.
The warning for Cork and Waterford will come into effect from 10:00 p:m tonight and will remain in place until 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, with the warning lifted for the remaining counties from 7:00 a:m.
The Met Office is warning of the potential of heavy and persistent rain at times, with a risk of Localised flooding & Difficult traveling conditions.
