An alternative water supply is being provided for people in the Faha area of County Waterford.
A reduced water supply from the source has lead to intermittent supply and pressure issues. It's affecting around 125 customers.
Irish Water and Waterford Council have undertaken some works to improve the situation, but they say that further monitoring and assessment of the source is required.
In the meantime an alternative supply of water will be available adjacent to Faha Church from approximately 10 am this morning (Wednesday).
Irish Water and Waterford Council say they understand the inconvenience caused when water outages occur and thank customers for their patience while they work to address this issue.
Customers are reminded to continue to follow the HSE Covid-19 guidance on hand-washing.
The latest updates on this restriction will be available on the supply and service section of the Irish Water website. The Irish Water customer care helpline is also open 24/7 on 1850 278 278.
