WLR shortlisted for three IMRO Radio Awards

WLR has received  three nominations for this year's IMRO Radio Awards.

The awards showcase the best and brightest talents across the Irish radio industry and this year's awards saw a record number of entries.

The WLR News team are shortlised in the News Programme Local/Regional category for their special broadcast marking the 30th anniversary of the disappearance of Imelda Keenan in Waterford.

Jordan Norris has been shortlisted in the Community Social Action category for his "Men's Health Matters" programme.

Aoibhin Fallon has earned a nomination for Waterford in Action in the Climate and Sustainability category.
