If you have any questions about going to college you can join in a CAO talk at Waterford Institute of Technology today.

30 minute slots can be booked online to chat with professionals about your third level choices.

The CAO change of mind deadline is July 1st and students are being reminded to have their first preference listed at the top.

Hosted by Claire Holden and John Power, Schools' Liaison Officers, along with other faculty staff, this virtual event will help students learn more about WIT courses, college life and what to expect as student at WIT.

John Power, from WIT's outreach team explains that participants can expect a short presentation on what CAO applicants need to be doing at this time of year, before the talk being opened up for questions.

"Do you need help with your CAO application? Are you confused about CAO order of preference? Do you need to know more about career opportunities? Our advice is sign up for the Zoom event, get involved, ask questions and make sure you are making an informed choice before the CAO Change of Mind deadline on 1 July 2020."

WIT has a number of supports for the CAO applicants of 2020 at a dedicated website www.wit.ie/cao.

One of the highlights of 'Ask WIT' is the facility for individual consultations with members of WIT's outreach team. Pre-booked virtual drop-in slots are available from 25 May to 1 July, the CAO Change of Mind deadline.
