Winners of the PPN Community and voluntary Awards announced

The Waterford PPN Community and Voluntary Awards took place last Thursday evening at a Gala event in The Park Hotel in Dungarvan.

The "Dunhill Tourism Walking Trail" won the "Mayor's Award" at the event, which celebrates the commitment of the voluntary sector in Waterford City and County.
The project, which manages the Anne Valley Walk, was chosen from the six category winners and the group will now go on to represent Waterford at the 2020 Pride of Place awards.
"Waterford City Massed Band," "Mental Health and Suicide Prevention," "Tallow Landscaping Tidy Towns & Community Council," "Dungarvan Boxing Club" and "Surprise Surprise" were the other category winners.

The winner of the Billy McCarthy Award went to Anne Cheasty from Tramore Tidy Towns.

The Waterford PPN Community and Voluntary Awards in association with BHP Insurance, Local Link Waterford, Waterford Local Enterprise Office, Waterford City & County Council, Care Choice, Expressway, Dungarvan Credit Union, and WLR.
