
A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Waterford and the entire country.
It comes into effect tomorrow, with Met Éireann forecasting “very strong and gusty southerly winds with gales possible near coasts”.
The warning will come into place at 3am and will remain in place until 9pm tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a Status Yellow rain warning for Waterford and counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry and Tipperary comes into effect at 9pm tonight and will remain in place until tomorrow morning.
Met Éireann says heavy rain will fall on “already saturated ground”.
There’s a warning of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions, with outdoor events potentially being impacted.
