Status yellow wind and rain warning issued for Waterford

Met Éireann has forecast some showers for today before Status Yellow rain and wind warnings come into effect for seven counties tomorrow, including Waterford.

On Sunday morning at 6 a.m., a Status Yellow rain warning will come into effect for Waterford, Cork, and Wexford.

Potential impacts of the spells of heavy rain include localised flooding and travel disruption. The warning is in place until 6 p.m.

A Status Yellow rain warning has also been issued for counties Donegal, Galway, Mayo, and Sligo - that will be in effect from 11 a.m. on Sunday until 9 p.m. on Sunday night.

A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued by Met Éireann for Waterford, Wexford, and Wicklow from tomorrow afternoon at 3 pm.

Very strong and gusty winds are expected and it will be in effect until 7 pm on Sunday evening.
