This year’s Waterford Business Awards take place on Friday, 8th March in the Tower Hotel Waterford, where over 30 businesses from across Waterford City and County will be recognised for their excellence in a variety of categories, from Customer Service and Retail Excellence, to Entrepreneur of the Year and Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility. Each day on Déise Today on WLR, a different category is featured, with interviews with the shortlisted businesses airing across the show. Today’s category is Training & People Development, sponsored by Waterford Chamber Skillnet. The winner, chosen by an independent panel of judges, will be announced at the Waterford Business Awards gala ceremony in The Tower Hotel Waterford on Friday, 8th March.

NEW LINKS TRAINING SOLUTIONS

Founded in 2009 New Links Training Solutions is run by Jim and Janet Tumulty. Together with their team of instructors they have built a strong reputation for delivering customised, impactful professional development training.  In 2018 the company continued to evolve many of its programmes in response to the changing demands from employers. These include leadership, Train the Trainer and bespoke learning and development conducted in-house. Their new initiatives for 2019 include: a Leadership series of programmes which sets participants in the agri-food, manufacturing, pharma and financial sectors up for success and the launch of EQ-I assessments and training in association with internationally renowned MHS Inc.
