Last night, the red carpet was rolled out in the Theatre Royal for the Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards.
On the night, the Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Betty Bible Mulcahy for her significant contributions to the arts and theatre scene in Waterford across her working life.
WLR's Wayne Brown walked away with the trophy for Best Radio Series for 'Showtime.'
He was facing strong competition against WLR's Geoff Harris for 'On the Fringe,' Noel Kelly for 'End of Term,' and 'Muintir na nDéise 2' on WLR.

Wayne also won Best Musical Director for Waterford Musical Society's production of 'My Fair Lady.'
