Revolution Craft Bar in Waterford won Best Whiskey Bar in Ireland at the Sky Bar of the Year awards held in Dublin on Monday night.
The awards recognise excellence across the licensed trade in Ireland.
Owner of Revolution Jim 'Flash' Gordon says they had some tough competition and were delighted to win.
Flash says the bar was judged on its ambiance and staff as well as its drink selection, which includes their prized 30 yr old Middleton very rare - which sells for 1,300 euro a measure!
Flash says he hopes the award will bring recognition of both the bar and what Waterford has to offer.
