Waterford's Finn Ryan was the first child to visit the famous Lego Bricktionary exhibition which opened in Dublin at the weekend.

Finn stole the hearts of the nation on The Late Late Toy Show in 2021 when he told Ireland of his love for LEGO® while in hospital battling cancer.

Created by one of the world’s leading LEGO® brick artists and LEGO® certified professional Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught, the new LEGO® model exhibition in Dublin is based on the renowned book‘The Bricktionary: The Ultimate A-Z of LEGO®’.

“It is amazing, I was so excited to come here because I really love Lego," said Finn.

"I can’t believe I was the first to get in. There is so much to see and it’s just so cool. I’ve never seen so many amazing LEGO® creations in one place. From life-size trees to Willy Wonka recreations, I can’t wait to try and recreate some of these myself”.

He added: “I really loved the interactive build zones and the mystery mosaic part, where you get to help create enormous LEGO® murals, which was so exciting. But my favourite part overall was the earthquake challenge, that was so fun! You have to build LEGO® creations that are strong enough to survive. Mine lasted a magnitude 9.0 today!I  can’t wait to come back again!”.
