Waterford's Education and Training Board (ETB) is planning to develop new classrooms and training spaces.
They're looking to convert two units in Waterford Industrial Park.
According to a planning application submitted to Waterford County Council, the ETB wants to develop the units, which previously belonged to Techniform.
The engineering company had been in units 218 and 219 in the business park.
The ETB's plans would see them become further education and apprentice training facilities - consisting of technical workshops, classrooms, and offices.
The Education Board already has a substantial training services building just a short distance away from this proposed development within the estate.
A decision is due from the council's planning section by the 6th of July.
