Waterford under yellow thunderstorm warning

Waterford is now under a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms until 7pm April 11th.
Met Eireann issued the warning for scattered thunderstorms with the chance of hail.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive with caution during heavy rainfall.
Met Eireann have warned of the possibility of:
• Localised flooding
• Difficult travelling conditions
• Lightning damage
The warning will remain in effect until 7pm.

In addition to Waterford, different Yellow warnings also apply to:
Cork, Kerry, Donegal, Galway, Mayo & Sligo
Motorists travelling between counties are urged to check local conditions before setting off.
