Waterford is under a Status Yellow weather warning this evening.

The Yellow Thunderstorm alert is valid from 1pm today until 6pm.

Met Éireann says possible impacts include localised flooding, poor visibility, and difficult travelling conditions.

Other impacted counties are  Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork and Tipperary.
