We'll finally get a taste of summer today.
Temperatures are set to reach the mid-20s, with no rain forecast across the county for the day.
Crowds are reported to be making their way to beaches across Waterford, with local businesses welcoming the weather following a difficult trading season due to adverse weather conditions.
The Met Éireann forecast states 'A largely fine and dry today with good sunny spells. A touch of cloud will drift over later in the afternoon making the sunshine a little hazy. Feeling rather warm too with highs of 20 to 23 degrees and light winds.'
The UV index will be moderate to high as reported by Met Éireann.
It will be dry this evening but becoming cloudier as the day goes on. Winds staying light with overnight lows of 9 to 12 degrees.
