A Waterford TD, Matt Shanahan has held up his Debenhams loyalty card in the Dáil in solidarity with staff at the local store.
The chain was liquidated during the Covid-19 crisis and around 1,000 jobs were lost.
Workers across Ireland are blockading stores to prevent the removal of stock, which they say should be used to fund better redundancy terms for workers.
Independent TD Matt Shanahan says the Waterford store always did well.
