A Waterford TD says there have been no briefings for members of the opposition on the Government's medium-term plan to tackle Covid-19.
Taoiseach Micheal Martin announced the roadmap to living alongside the virus for the next six months - however, Sinn Fein says there has been no communication with members of the Oireachtas.
It comes as the HSE is fearful about not being able to deal with a surge in requests for tests, according to the Sunday Independent.
Sinn Fein's Health spokesperson Waterford's David Cullinane says there needs to be collaboration:
"There has been no debate in the Dail over the last number of weeks on the government's plan.
"There has been no briefings for Oireachtas members, for opposition health spokespersons or for party leaders.
"There was a briefing for some TD's in the capital as a consequence of the new restrictions but when the government announced their plan last week there was no briefing for Oireachtas members, we had to push for one and now we have a meeting with the chief medical officer next week."
