Today is World Cancer Day.
Since its creation in 2000, the international awareness day has grown significantly and aims to create unity in order to tackle all of the challenges associated with cancer.
This year's theme, is 'Close the Care Gap' which aims to ensure world leaders are committed to prioritising cancer issues for all.
Here in Waterford, help is available through a variety of services - including at the Solas Centre at its bases in both Waterford City and Dungarvan.
