Two Waterford schools have submitted extension plans to Waterford City and County Council.

Applications from St. Mary's NS Ballygunner and the Mercy Secondary School were received this week.

St. Mary's are seeking a single story extension that would lead to two classrooms, six resource rooms and an assisted user toilet.

They are also seeking permission for a new car park at the front of the school.
