A Waterford hair salon has scooped a prestigious award at a gala event this week.
Lisa Kenny at Plush Hair won Hair Extension Salon of the Year at The Glammies.
Over one hundred of Ireland’s top hair extensions experts gathered to celebrate the very best in the sector at the Medley in Dublin.
Speaking to WLR News, Lisa explains more about the award.
"We won great lengths salon of the year. They are a very prestigious brand of hair extensions, I've been using them for the last 12 years."
She says to have won an award like this is "a huge honour."
The extensions are 100% human hair extensions and Lisa's customers range across the spectrum of ages.
"Young girls maybe want a bit of extra thickness in their hair, we also have older women in their 70s who are maybe a little thin on top and who want them.
"We also have women who have had cancer or who have gone through menopause and we can give them confidence back, because you hair is your crowning glory."
Plush Hair is located at the Woodlands Hotel on the Dunmore Road.
