The latest GeoDirectory Commercial Buildings Report for Q4 2023 has been released. The Report analyses commercial building stock across Ireland.
There's been an increase in the national commercial vacancy rate and a decrease in the total stock of commercial properties.
The commercial vacancy rate in Waterford increased to 14.5% in December 2023, higher than the national average of 14.3%
Of the places analysed in Waterford, the City had the highest commercial vacancy rate in Q4 2023 at 17.9%, while Tramore had the lowest at 11.5%
The national commercial vacancy rate increased by 0.3 percentage points to 14.3% in Q4 2023, the highest level reported by GeoDirectory since the report began in 2013.
