A march in solidarity with the people of Palestine is set to take place in Waterford City this weekend.
Organised by the South East branch of the Irish Palestinian Solidarity Committee, the event will begin at 2pm at the Bullpost in Ballybricken.
The committee has described the ‘March for Palestine’ as “not just a protest; its a cry for justice”.
“A call from our hearts to the world – enough is enough,” a spokesperson said. “Bring your friends, bring your voice, let the world hear us.”
“Join us as we march in solidarity with the people of Palestine, for the children buried in rubble, for the families starving under siege, for every voice silenced by violence.”
Those planning to attend are invited to bring along flags.
