Waterford Junior Minister, Mary Butler has announced she's been given the all-clear.
The Fianna Fáil TD had undergone surgery for skin cancer on her nose at the end of September.
The procedure followed a previous, unsuccessful one in June.
Minister Butler has now tweeted to say "this is one of the good days" because she got the all clear and no further action is required.
This is one of the good days, got the all clear, all done, no further action required 🙏 I’m blessed.

She also spoke on Déise Today after making the announcement.
"I feel absolutely overjoyed, relieved and elated," she told Damien Tiernan.
"At 9 o'clock this morning I had an appointment with the consultant who performed the surgery on my nose...
"And I'm very, very conscious that 13,000 people in Ireland every year are diagnosed with some form of skin cancer. This year I was one of them.
"But this morning I got the fantastic news that I'm discharged from his care, he got it all, no further action required."
She says the main reason she spoke publicly about her diagnoses in the first place was to raise awareness about skin cancer.
"There's lots of little lumps and bumps we all get as we get older," she explained, "and we ignore them.
"To be honest, I was guilty of ignoring what was on my nose - covering it with make-up, wearing a mask for two years and saying 'ah, it'll be grand'.
"But it wasn't grand."
Continuing, she said it does weigh on her mind, however, that she got good news when so many others won't, and that she had tried to mentally prepare herself beforehand in case she got bad news herself.
"You know, we were coming out in the car and my husband, Michael, was driving me and I just said to him, 'you know I am prepared for the worst.'
"I met a person recently who had to have 30 sessions of therapy and I said, 'I am prepared for it and I'll just take it one day as it comes'.
"But I'm just... I'm a little bit in shock here. I'm just overjoyed."
