The Mental Health Commission has published nine inspection reports for approved inpatient mental health centres across Ireland.

Included in the report is Grangemore at St Otteran’s Hospital in Waterford.

It received a 100 per cent compliance rate with the rules, regulations and codes of practice for the fourth year in succession.

Areas of good practice included strong leadership, and the skilled, caring and committed staff.

Overall, four centres were between 90-100 per cent compliant; a further three were between 80-90 per cent compliant, while just two centres were between 70-80 per cent compliant.
