The man who crafts hurleys for some of Waterford's senior hurling stars says he's very proud that his work will be on display on the game's biggest stage.

Peter Flanagan crafts his hurleys entirely by hand at his workshop in Knockenduff in Tramore.

Austin Gleeson and Michael 'Brick' Walsh are just two of his biggest clients, and they'll be using Flanagan hurleys when they line out against Galway in the All Ireland final this Sunday.

Peter says he's hoping for the best. And he praised the Waterford manager Derek McGrath on the  great job he has done for the team.
