Popular Waterford City hair salon, Willow Hair Boutique is to close after 13 years of trading.

The doors on The Glen, Waterford will close on Saturday, February 28th.

In a statement issued on social media, the salon acknowledged the difficulties in sustainably keeping a business operational.

The statement read: “With ongoing price increases and rising costs across every part of running a business, it has become increasingly difficult to continue sustainably.”

Willow Hair Boutique has thanked clients, stylists, and Lyndsey Waring- makeup artist, for the warm relationships fostered.

Additionally, they have advised that all vouchers will be honoured to be used with Sarah or Louise.

Bookings for weddings are also secure and clients are reassured by the salon that their booking is unaffected.

A new location will be announced for outstanding and new appointments with Sarah and Louise.
