A West-Waterford fishmonger says Ireland's fishermen have been left without a voice when it comes to Brexit negotiations.

The British Government's suggesting a temporary customs union with the EU after Brexit.

The plan aims to keep the Cabinet united after disagreements over the issue - and if agreed, would allow free trade to continue.

Neasa Ni Cheallaigh owns South Coast Seafood in Dungarvan, who are supplied every morning with a catch from Helvick.

Neasa says Brexit would bring challenges to her business:

'There wouldn't be many in Government who have actual experience of the fishing industry - the fishermen have no one to speak up from them'.

She says a special deal between Ireland and Britain over fisheries would be the best case scenario.
