Fire crews from Dunmore East, Waterford City and Tramore responded to a large house fire in Dunmore East in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened at around 1.20 am in the Ballymacaw area of Dunmore and the fire was extinguished using a hydraulic platform.
The platform was used to deliver large amounts of water from a height and into hard to reach areas of the property.
A water tanker was also in use to supplement the volume of water needed to extinguish the fire.
All occupants were out of the property when the Fire Service arrived.
The fire caused extensive damage to the property and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
