As part of National Slow Down Day, 755 drivers nationally were caught speeding by Gardaí.
Included in that figure is a driver in Kilmacthomas, who was recorded as travelling at 124km/h in a 100km/h zone.
Elsewhere, a driver was travelling at 194km/h in a 100km/h zone in Castlemartyr, Co.Cork, while another of the speeds recorded was 132km/h in Co. Donegal.
The 24-hour slowdown initiative ran from 7am on Friday to 7am on Saturday morning.
A Garda spokesperson said: "The aim of National Slow Down Day, which is supported by the Road Safety Authority is to promote safer driving practices among motorists. It is to encourage all of society to work with us to help prevent road traffic collisions."
Across the 24-hours, Gardaí checked the speeds of 163,146 vehicles.
