Waterford GAA has welcomed the announcement that Waterford has once again been confirmed as the host city for the GAA World Games — this time for the 2026 edition.

Waterford previously hosted the Games in 2019.

This prestigious international event will bring together over 2,000 players from around the globe, representing more than 100 football, hurling, camogie, and ladies football teams.

The Games will take place at the SETU Arena from July 13–16, with the finals to be held in the iconic surroundings of Walsh Park on Friday, July 17.
