The Waterford Community Safety Partnership Forum invites the public to make submissions regarding the public's views on community safety issues.
A meeting will be held on Monday, March 13th at the City Hall to identify and tackle community safety issues in Waterford.
Chairman Sean Aylward said concerns around crime in Waterford remain high with the public.
He added: "The objective of the community safety regime in Waterford is to make it a place that is safer and feels safer.
"In relation to crime, there are two twists. There is the actual experience of crime but then there is the fear of crime.
"We have had surveys conducted by the Community Safety Partnership and it showed that crime is still feared in Waterford."
He continued to say: "The forum is an opportunity for people to have their voice heard or query answered. We want to alert people to this and to the mechanism we are using for the questions to be asked anonymously and answered by the relevant authorities at that meeting.".
Questions can be submitted beforehand to [email protected] or by post to WCSP, 8A Catherine Street, Waterford before Monday 6th March.
