Waterford commercial premises substantially damaged in fire

Emergency services attended the scene of a fire at a premises in Waterford City last night.
Waterford Fire Service was alerted to a fire in a commercial premises on Poleberry Link Road at around 6.20pm.

Units from Waterford City, Tramore and Dunmore East responded to find a two storey building housing a shop with workshop alight.
The building was unoccupied at the time.
Teams of firefighters brought the fire under control with fire service operations concluding at approximately midnight.
According to Waterford Fire Service, the building was “substantially damaged” with some smoke damage to neighbouring properties.
