A significant power outage in Waterford City continues to impact thousands of households this morning, March 27th.

Work is ongoing this morning in the Grange area of the city following an outage overnight which affected approximately 1500 customers.

Intermittent power outages were reported yesterday afternoon in the region.

Further outages were reported to ESB Networks this morning at approximately 05:20am.

Current reports confirm that the outage was repaired by ground crews at 06:20am.

However, many customers have reported that power remains inconsistent.

Additionally, street lights were impacted in the Ardkeen/Grange area in the early hours of the morning.
