A Waterford choir is officially launching its charity single later.
Mount Sion Secondary School Choir recorded the song Your Love Carries Me with Irish singer and songwriter, Don Mescall.
It's in aid of three cancer charities: Can Teen, Can Care 4 Living and The Solas Centre.
The Waterford school will debut the song at an event at UCD this lunchtime to raise awareness of World Cancer Day.
They will be joined by the Solas Cancer Support Centre men’s choir, the UCD community choir, Midlands Irish Sign Language Learners choir, and the choirs of St Mary’s Newport Secondary School, Oatlands College, and Loreto College Foxrock.
Cervical cancer campaigners Stephen Teap and Vicky Phelan will be attending today's event.
Oscar and I were honoured to be at this recording, he's thrilled that he made the video! Can't wait for tomorrow to see this amazing choir in action again, brilliant song by @DonMescall @mountsionchoir #WorldCancerDay https://t.co/YVjJL7GIFl
