A Waterford-based group, Harmania Indie Choir have raised over €2,800 for Focus Ireland through a music video they made.
The Choir released their version of the song titled 'Only You' by The Flying Pickets, with all proceeds going to the charity.
Roisín McGrath is the Musical Director with the group. She joined Geoff on this afternoon's Lunchbox to discuss the song.
She said that rather than doing gigs this year, the choir wanted to make a music video that also acted as a fundraiser for Focus Ireland.
When asked how many takes the video took to make, Roisín replied with "three."
"I had them well warned and I think they practiced like crazy," she said.
Geoff also spoke with Jessica Murphy who is with Focus Ireland.
When discussing the song, Jessica said the Choir "came up trumps this year."
Jessica and Roisín have worked on fundraising for Focus Ireland together in the past.
"I know I can rely on Roisín and give her a call if I'm looking for someone to do some singing for us," Jessica said.
She added that the money that's raised goes into the national pot, but that Waterford is the second-largest services centre outside of Dublin.
