Minister of State for Disabilities, Anne Rabbitte TD, has announced €23m in capital funding has been allocated for disability capital projects in 2024.
Children’s services, Day services and Respite facilities are to receive investment.
The projects being supported include the new St Otteran's Children's Therapy facility in Waterford City to facilitate therapy services for children and young people with complex needs.
According to the latest update, the project is now at the Detailed Design/ Tender stage.
