A Waterford centre for adults with disabilities has been found to be non-compliant under two regulations in a HIQA inspection report.
An unannounced inspection took place at Comeragh Residential Services, Kilmeaden on January 9th this year.
The purpose of the risk based inspection was to review progress by the provider against stated actions put in place following the last inspection in July 2023.
The centre, which is run by the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, has five residents.
It was found to be non-compliant in the areas of staffing and notification of incidents.
However, the centre was listed as either compliant or substantially compliant in all other areas.
A judgment of not compliant means the provider or person in charge has not complied with a regulation and considerable action is required.
