Waterford’s 11 General Election candidates have a nervous wait to find out if they’ve secured a seat in the 33rd Dáil.
They’ve spent the last three weeks at least travelling the highways and by-ways of Waterford City and County asking people for their number 1.
Several of the Waterford candidates are sharing pictures of themselves casting their votes on social media.

My most important vote cast with the two most important women in my life beside me 💕
Today I voted with my family for a better Waterford. Obviously I'm assured of one #1 😊
Don't forget to get out & have your say on who will fight for a better #Waterford 💙⚪️🔵🇮🇪 pic.twitter.com/XKmnkO1mTO
