There were a number of big wins for Waterford businesses at last night’s Irish Restaurant Awards.

Grow HQ came away with both the Munster and All-Ireland title for Best Sustainable Practices.

The Old Couch Café in the city was named Munster and Ireland’s Best Emerging Irish Cuisine.

While Mezze in Tramore was crowned Munster and Ireland’s Best World Cuisine.

And Tramore’s Beach House has been named the Best Newcomer in Munster, while also claiming the title of Best Seafood Experience.

A total of 16 local businesses had been shortlisted after winning the Waterford titles in August.
