A member of the Waterford Arts Forum says he’d like to see a greater link-up between the arts and business communities in Waterford.

The Arts Forum arranged a number of information sessions this week dealing with funding streams for local artists.

Ollie Breslin says Waterford businesses could be a great support for the arts locally.

“I think the business community could bring a lot,” he says, “We’re not getting enough money into the arts here in Waterford from these big agencies, and if we got some help from the business community, I think we could crack that one.”
