Water supply to be impacted across many areas of Waterford across the course of today, January 28th.

Essential maintenance works are scheduled to begin in Lismore, Deerpark, and surrounding areas.

These works are to get underway at 1pm and are scheduled to be completed at 5.30pm.

Elsewhere, mains repair works are to be completed in the Mitchell Street area of Dungarvan.

Works will begin at 8pm this evening until 2am on January 29th.

Essential works are to begin in Passage East and surrounding areas until 6pm this evening.

Meanwhile, a Do Not Consume notice remains in effect for all customers served by the Kilmeaden/Ballyduff supply.

Water is available outside the Moon Café in Kilmeaden.

Uisce Eireann advises that this water must be boiled before use.

Households and businesses impacted by water outages are advised to allow for 3-4 hours for supply to return.
