Amber was visiting from Tipperary with her daughter.
"We came down to start the new year the right way by being more healthy and active. I love the freedom of Tramore. The kids can go on the scooters and bikes but I also love sitting here looking at the waves and enjoying the peace.
"My New Year's resolution is to be happier, healthier, and have more family time."
Jim was also visiting Tramore from Carlow. However, he said he doesn't commit to much in the new year.
"I don't have any New Year's resolutions because they wouldn't be long getting forgotten so I don't bother with them.
