Waterford City and County Council have released a digital render of the new sustainable transport bridge connecting the North Quays.
A 217m long bridge connecting the city’s North and South Quays (River Suir Sustainable Transport Bridge) & associated vessel collision protection system
The bridge is a permanent structure and spans the river which is circa 217 meters wide at its location measured between the edge of the South Quays river wall and the shore edge of the North Quays wharf.
Stretching from near the clock tower on the South Quays.
On Monday, the sod was officially turned on the North Quays development, with An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, Transport Minister, Éamonn Ryan, and Housing Minister, Darragh O'Brien all in attendance.
