A vehicle seized by Gardaí in Waterford this week was found to be untaxed for 600 days.

The van was stopped by the Waterford Roads Policing Unit on Monday after its lengthy untaxed period was discovered through the use of a mobility device.

It was discovered that the van was also displaying a false tax disc from a Vespa scooter.
The vehicle has been seized and an investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile, last week, while Gardaí in Waterford city were on overnight patrol, they discovered the driver of a car (pictured below) stopped at a green light and eating a kebab who then proceeded onwards when the light went red.
He was later found to be more than four times over the legal drink-driving limit.
